While the train with nuclear waste is starting its journey from France to Gorleben/Germany the people in the region around Gorleben get together to express their protest. This short film in german language shows scenes from a students demonstration a lantern walk, the occupation of a street and other places and events of the protest.


Tag 1 - Castoren unterwegs

Die Castoren sind unterwegs: der Zug mit den Atommüllbehältern startet am Freitag, 5. November aus Frankreich in Richtung Gorleben. Währenddessen versammeln sich in Lüchow Schüler und Schülerinnen zu einer Demonstration, reisen Menschen aus ganz Deutschland ins Wendland um hier gegen die Atompolitik der Bundesregierung zu protestieren. Der kurze Film zeigt Eindrücke des Tages und lässt die Menschen vor Ort zu Wort kommen.
